Bearskin Trail
The Bearskin State Trail is a 26.5-mile long recreational trail that begins in downtown Minocqua. It is a former railroad bed that has been converted into a hiking, biking, and snowmobiling trail. The trail is known for its scenic beauty, following the Bearskin Creek as it winds through the northwoods. Trail pass required for biking. Dogs allowed on a leash.

Bittersweet Lakes- Bittersweet
True adventure seekers will venture further into the Bittersweet Lakes State Natural Area to Bittersweet Lake. The road to access the lake is rough terrain and a 4 wheel drive low profile vehicle is a must but the serenity & views arewell worth the trek.
Bittersweet Lakes- Prong lake
The Bittersweet Lakes State Natural Area offers a "Boundary Waters for Beginners" experience. Quiet, remote lakes, short portages, and rustic camping. Park at the entrance and portage into the first of four lakes, Prong Lake. Enjoy the serenity there or continue on to explore the other lakes.
Clear Lake
Aptly named Clear Lake is a 873 acre exceptionally clear lake in Woodruff. The public beach and campground make this spot a perfect place to paddle & play all day. State Park & Forests vehicle admission sticker required.
Hemlock Lake
Located in Woodruff, Hemlock Lake is a charming 38-acre lake known for its calm and tranquil atmosphere. It provides the perfect setting for paddlers to enjoy a peaceful and serene experience on the water. Hemlock Lake is easily accessible and a convenient proximity to town, however, once you are on the lake, you will feel a sense of seclusion as you immerse yourself in the natural surroundings. To access the lake, there is a carry-in landing available.

The Madeline Lake Trail is a hiking & biking trail located in Woodruff. The trail is a network of four loops of easy to moderate terrain with some rolling hills totaling 16.5 miles. A trail pass is required for biking. Dogs allowed on a leash.
Mcnaughton Trail
The McNaughton Lake Trail is a versatile outdoor trail that caters to hiking and, biking. It provides gentle terrain with minimal steep hills, making it suitable for beginners and those who prefer easier routes. The trail follows old logging roads around three different lakes, offering a picturesque experience. Trail pass is required for both biking on this trail.

Minocqua Winter Park is a hub for winter recreation in Minocqua but in the summer you can still enjoy the trails. Many of the ski and snowshoe trails are maintained and mowed in the summer for hiking. Beginner to expert mountain bikers will also enjoy the property & ride the short single-track mountain biking trail system to the top of Squirrel Hill.

There are several loops to choose from, ranging in length, but if you want an easy route, go for the 1.4-mile Nature Trail Loop. The trail is considered to be one of the finest mountain biking trail systems in the Northwoods, offering a grand ride through the woods with flowing and sheltered trails.

Tomahawk River
Take a full-day paddle trip along the stunning Tomahawk River. Put in across from the Dam Road Boat ramp and begin your route north. Pass underneath Hwy 70 &paddle past the Wildwood Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari. You are sure to hear the monkeys & birds from the zoo. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by the abundance of waterfowl, eagles, heron, and osprey that you'll encounter along the way. Take out at Hwy 70 near mercer lake road.

Zipline Trail
The trail consists of several loops totaling 6.2 miles that wind through the woods, beneath the zip lines. From beginner to intermediate, there are varying degrees of difficulty. During the winter, LAMBO grooms the trails for some of the best winter fat biking around. The trail is free and open to the public.
